Catchpoint's Real User Monitoring (RUM) uses a javascript tag embedded in your website to capture performance metrics from real user sessions and transmit them to Catchpoint for monitoring and analysis. We are planning to update the domain name that we use for this communication. This change may require your organization to update the content security policies on websites with the RUM tag deployed to allow traffic to the new domain.
The new domain will be implemented in the new version of the RUM tag to be released on April 15, 2025.
Old domain: r.3gl.net
New domain: rjs.3gl.net
We suggest allowing/whitelisting the domain with a wildcard for the script: *.3gl.net. Both domains will be active after the change, so older versions of the RUM tag will continue to function.
Note that we are making a similar change for Endpoint Monitoring.
