Catchpoint's Endpoint monitoring uses an app installed locally on your employee's devices to capture device- and application-performance metrics and transmit them to Catchpoint for monitoring and analysis. We are planning to update the domain name that we use for this communication. This change may require your organization to update its firewalls or any domain-based allowlists to allow traffic to the new domain.
The new domain will be implemented in the new version of the Endpoint app to be released on April 15, 2025.
Old domain: r.3gl.net
New domain: e.3gl.net
We suggest allowing/whitelisting the domain with a wildcard: *.3gl.net. Both domains will be active after the change, so older versions of the Endpoint app will continue to function.
