Welcome to the Europa release! Named after Jupiter’s icy ocean world, Europa is known for its smooth surface, traced with long cracks that hint at something deeper below. This release follows that same pattern: calm on the surface, with meaningful progress layered underneath.
New Intuitive Navigation Menu
The Catchpoint portal now features an updated navigation menu that improves discoverability and streamlines movement between workflows through a more consistent structure.
The left-hand navigation organizes related monitoring workflows into grouped product areas, such as Synthetics, Real User Monitoring, and Endpoint. Each area is structured to guide users from high-level overviews to detailed analysis, consolidating related views and configuration options. This organization provides a more cohesive and intuitive navigation menu across the platform. Additional modules, including Infrastructure and Edwin AI, are now included to surface expanded capabilities within the Catchpoint and LogicMonitor ecosystem.
The top navigation has also been refined to support a more responsive layout. On smaller screens, it collapses to maximize available workspace while preserving access to global actions.

Test Level Proxy
Proxy configuration is now available at the test level, allowing you to define proxy behavior for each test based on specific requirements. Proxy settings are managed through a centralized proxy configuration library, enabling the reuse of consistent proxy definitions across multiple tests.
Test-level proxy configuration currently supports static proxies; PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) files will be added in a later phase, providing flexibility to apply simple or dynamic proxy routing as needed. This approach allows proxy behavior to be explicitly associated with each test while maintaining consistency and ease of management.
These changes are dependent on the Agent release

New Experience Score with Lighthouse Metrics
Experience Score is a composite metric which grades the overall digital experience of tests on a scale of 0-100. It provides a quick, intuitive summary of the impact of test performance on user experience across different test types. This has been updated to improve how Catchpoint summarizes user experience for tests that include Lighthouse metrics. The score combines multiple performance metrics into a single, easy-to-interpret value.
This updated scoring model (Experience Score) applies only to Playwright, Puppeteer, Chrome (New), Mobile (New), and Edge web tests. Experience Score for all other web tests and network-based tests are unchanged.
Metrics Included in Experience Score
- Total Blocking Time (TBT)
- Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
- Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)
- First Contentful Paint (FCP)
- Apdex
Overall Score Interpretation
- Good: 90–100
- Needs improvement: 50–89
- Poor: 0–49
The new Experience Score will be available soon after the release.

WebPageTest
Domain Breakdown
WebPageTest Instant Tests now include a Domain Breakdown table on the Assets page, providing clear visibility into third-party domains involved in loading a webpage. This view summarizes each external domain by request count and total byte size, helping you quickly understand the footprint of third-party content.
This additional insight makes it easier to assess external dependencies and their relative impact on page weight and performance during analysis and troubleshooting.

Updated Scheduled Tests Records page with Opportunities
The Records page for WebPageTest Scheduled Tests has been updated to provide a richer, more consistent results experience. Scheduled test results now display the same key information available for Instant Tests, including the summary, waterfall, lighthouse and related performance details.
In addition, Opportunities are now available for scheduled test results, making it easier to identify potential performance improvements directly from recurring test data. These enhancements help streamline analysis by bringing deeper visibility and actionable insights into a single, familiar results view.

REST API Updates
Rotational API Key Support
Rotational API key support is now available, providing greater flexibility in managing REST API credentials. Bearer tokens can be configured with custom expiration periods ranging from 30 days to 2 years, allowing alignment with operational and security requirements.
Multiple API keys are now supported per consumer, enabling you to create and validate a new key while an existing key remains active. This allows for seamless key rotation without interrupting API usage as keys approach expiration.
To support this capability, new REST API endpoints have been introduced for creating and deleting API keys, enabling programmatic management of the API key lifecycle.
CLI v1
The Catchpoint CLI is now available, providing a command-line interface for interacting with REST API v4 directly from the terminal. Built in Go, the CLI supports scripting, automation, and CI/CD workflows where programmatic access to Catchpoint is required.
The initial v1 release includes support for Tests and Instant Tests, enabling you to create, manage, and execute tests using structured commands. Output can be formatted and filtered to return only the required data, simplifying integration with automated workflows.
The CLI also includes built-in documentation, shell auto-completion, configurable verbosity for troubleshooting, and a Docker image for use in containerized environments.

Agent Release
Some of the features in the release (where noted) require the latest version of the Catchpoint Agent to be running on the selected Node. The Catchpoint Agent rollout involves two dimensions:
- Public Nodes managed by Catchpoint: Agent rollout on public nodes takes place in stages following each release. Agent release announcements are posted here: https://nodestatus.catchpoint.com.
- Private Enterprise Nodes managed by customers: Customers can upgrade Enterprise Nodes any time at their convenience. We advise customers to upgrade Enterprise nodes promptly after each release to benefit from the new feature functionality.
- Instructions for upgrading Enterprise nodes can be found in the help documentation.
