This is an exciting year for Catchpoint, now a part of LogicMonitor. For our release theme, we’re looking up, beyond the horizon. Each release will be named after a distinct moon in our solar system. This release, Triton, is named after Neptune’s largest moon. Triton is the only large moon in our solar system that orbits in the opposite direction of its planet’s rotation, suggesting it was originally an independent object captured from the Kuiper Belt.
Catchpoint-LogicMonitor Integration
This year, you’ll see several improvements made towards a seamless, integrated experience between Catchpoint and LogicMonitor. We’re working to provide a comprehensive “user-to-code” view across your digital service delivery chain - from your infrastructure health to the performance your customers’ experience across the global Internet.
Already, any Catchpoint customer can send alerts to Edwin AI, enabling IT teams to automatically correlate network and end-user experience signals with data from infrastructure monitoring, logging, APM, security, and CMDB sources.
In this release, we’ve updated the Catchpoint portal with matching branding and color styles. This is just one small step forward. Much more is coming in following releases!

Catchpoint MCP Server - Preview
The new MCP Server redefines how teams analyze and act on Catchpoint data. It enables AI assistants to search, filter, and visualize information in one seamless flow, turning fragmented data into clear, actionable insight.
With this upgrade, teams can easily uncover which tests are failing, why performance is degrading, and how error patterns are evolving, all in context and without digging through raw data. The server can automatically combine multiple tools, such as test search, performance metrics, and error analysis, into a single workflow that delivers the full picture in one step.
Example of Catchpoint MCP integrated into Claude:

Built to integrate directly with existing LLM-based workflows, the MCP Server becomes the connective layer between Catchpoint data and intelligent automation powered by large language models. It enables AI-driven assistants, copilots, and chat interfaces to reason over live monitoring data, trigger follow-up actions, and surface insights naturally, bringing observability and AI operations into the same ecosystem.
WebPageTest – Instant Test Improvements
Test Creation
We’ve made the following improvements to WPT Instant Test creation:
- Commonly used device and connection combinations are highlighted
- The Top three locations with the best available capacity are surfaced
- Security-related settings are consolidated into a dedicated Security Configuration tab
Together, these improvements should make your instant test setup faster and clearer.

Basic Authentication
Customers can now securely include username and password credentials when running an instant test, making it easier to test authenticated pages and pre‑production environments without exposing content publicly.

Test Re-Run and Configuration
Instant Test results now separate re‑run and configuration review actions, making it easier to repeat a test as‑is or inspect and adjust the test settings before running it again.

Bulk Testing
Bulk testing is now available for WPT Instant Tests, allowing customers to run the same test configuration across multiple URLs at once. This makes it faster and more efficient to evaluate performance at scale without repeating individual test setup.
Additional Search Capabilities
We’ve enhanced the search experience to make it easier and faster to find what you need. Users can now search across Products, Folders, Webpage Tests (WPT), Heartbeat tests, and Test Suites from a single search interface. Label-based search is also supported using the /label: prefix to quickly filter results (for example: “/label:production”). In addition, search results now display the total number of matches, providing immediate visibility into the scope of your query.
Active Session Timeout
A new Active Session Timeout setting is now available, allowing you to require users to re‑authenticate after a defined period of time, even if they are actively using the portal. This supports security best practices outlined in NIST SP 800‑63B for session reauthentication and maximum session duration. If you’re interested in enabling this feature, please contact your account team.
Network Error Logging – Ignore HTTP Errors
Network error logging (NEL) tracks connectivity issues between applications and servers, helping teams quickly identify and fix network problems for reliable user experiences. NEL is the only solution for detecting end user impacting network issues measured from real user devices since RUM solutions involve client-side code that can’t be executed when network errors occur.
Catchpoint now allows users to ignore HTTP errors with RUM NEL, so only genuine network connectivity issues are reported. This makes it easier to focus on and resolve network problems without distraction from application or server errors. Capture NEL HTTP Errors can be toggled in App Properties in Control Center > RUM.

Catchpoint Agent Release
Some of the features in the release (where noted) require the latest version of the Catchpoint Agent to be running on the selected Node. The Catchpoint Agent rollout involves two dimensions:
Public Nodes managed by Catchpoint: Agent rollout on public nodes takes place in stages following each release. Agent release announcements are posted here:
https://nodestatus.catchpoint.com/
Private Enterprise Nodes managed by customers: Customers can upgrade Enterprise Nodes any time at their convenience. We advise customers to upgrade Enterprise nodes promptly after each release to benefit from the new feature functionality.
Instructions for upgrading Enterprise nodes can be found in the help documentation.
