SLA Classification

Prev Next

SLA Classification lets you remove errant or extraneous data from your organization's data which should not be considered when calculating your SLA performance (e.g. failures of tests that mistakenly ran during a planned downtime.) Once enabled, SLA Data Classification can be accessed under Settings. When creating a data classification, you must specify test(s) and a timeframe. then select whether to purge all tests runs or just failures. You must also read and check the consent box.

Once Data Classification has been applied to some data, you can exclude this data in Explorer by selecting the option SLA Accepted in the Test Run Filter.

Note: Once an SLA Purge is saved, it may take up to ~10 minutes to be reflected in Catchpoint analysis and waterfall data.

Please note that there are limits on this feature:

There is a limit on how far back you can go and create purges, since these changes regenerate the SLA reports data. The reports will be closed at the end of the month. However, if you want to make a change, you will have up to 90 days.

Example: For data that closed out on April 30th, you will be able to update the data for the month of April until June 30th, after which you will not be able to make any changes using purges.

You can create a purge no longer than 7 days.

Note: This setting has to enabled by Catchpoint at the Client level in order to be available for use.

Please reach out to your CSM or Support team to enable this setting for your account.
