Catchpoint relies on feedback from users to help guide our product development process. We welcome and value all ideas and feature requests. This is how you can submit any feature requests you may have.
A place to submit your ideas
Have a clear understanding of ‘It’s an Enhancement and not a Bug’ (if it is a bug, it must be filed through the Catchpoint Support). There are two ways to file an enhancement,
- Through the Catchpoint portal.
- Through the Feedback portal directly.
Filing feedback through the Catchpoint portal:
Log in to the Catchpoint portal and from anywhere on the portal click the “Help” icon in the top right corner of the screen, and then select “Share Your Feedback” from the Resource Center menu.
Filing feedback through the Feedback portal:
This method is recommended over the filing of feedback on the Catchpoint portal (as highlighted above) because here we can easily search for all the relevant feedback(s)/enhancement(s) first before filing one.
Once we confirm our feedback is fresh one and does not already exist, the wen can file the new feedback in the same way as mentioned above (we are presented with same set of fields).
Please do not log a support ticket for an enhancement idea. The support portal should only be used for technical support and questions. In the forum, users can create new requests, vote, and give feedback to existing ideas. This is also the centralized place for our Product Managers to give feedback and updates to your suggestions based on feasibility and votes.
Subscribing to existing Feedbacks/Enhancements
If there are existing feedbacks that you are interested in, it is recommended to subscribe to them. Subscribing to feedbacks makes us eligible to receive necessary updates from Product/Engineering team.
Looking for Existing Ideas
From the main page of Feedback portal, you can see other ideas trending across the platform. To lend your voice to one of them simply click the Thumbs up button.
Use the toolbar under the suggestion box to find request statuses, ideas you have submitted, and ideas you have given feedback to.
Voting for an Idea
Unlike our previous feedback portal, you now have unlimited votes. However, you will see new priority sliders on the main dashboard. We ask that you use these to convey which ideas you have voted for are most important to you. Our product team uses the number of votes, the priority sliders, and other factors in deciding what ideas to pick up, so setting and keeping them accurate is helpful in making sure we get to what is most important to you.
