Endpoint Alerts can be configured per location, device, or employee app. Each alert is based on a specific metric and threshold. You can also specify how many endpoints must experience poor performance before an alert is triggered, and you can set up timeframes when the alert should be active.

Creating Endpoint Alerts:

  1. Navigate to Control Center > Endpoint > Alerts.
  2. Click Create in the Endpoint Alerts screen.
  3. Complete the Basic Settings
    1. Input a name for this alert.
    2. Select the status for this alert (Active or Inactive).
    3. Input/select email recipient(s) for this alert.
    4. Set a subject for the Alert email.
    5. Optionally specify an API URL (Webhook) to push the alert to. (Webhook must be preconfigured in your Portal's API Settings).
    6. Select a Reminder frequency. (This defines how often the alert message will be repeated while the alert-triggering condition continues.)
  4. Complete the Alert On settings.
    1. In the Alert On section, select which type of item's performance will trigger the alert (Location, Endpoint, Employee App, Test, or Label)
    2. In the Apply to section, specify whether the alert should be applied to all items or specific ones.
    3. If alerting on specific items, specify them in the list.
  5. In the Endpoint Breakdown section, select whether the alert should be triggered based on the average performance of endpoints, or the performance of each individual endpoint.
  6. Complete the Alert Conditions settings.
    1. Select the Metric that will be used to trigger the alert and the value above/below which it should trigger.
    2. Input the minimum number of Endpoints that must meet the Alert Condition (within the time-frame specified in the following step) in order to trigger the alert.
  7. Complete the Time Threshold settings.
    1. Set the time-frame (in minutes) within which the specified minimum number of Endpoints must meet the alert condition in order to trigger the alert.
    2. Set the and days and times during which the alert will be active.
