In order to deliver the best possible product for our clients, Catchpoint conducts regular product releases. During the release, there is a short maintenance window (~2 hours).
Here are a few facts about the maintenance window:
- The Catchpoint portal will continue to be available
- The portal will be in read-only mode for the first 45 minutes of the release time. During this time, users will not be able to edit/create elements, or launch Instant Tests
- The Catchpoint REST API will experience a short downtime of ~15minutes
- The Catchpoint Test Data Webhook will continue to operate throughout
- Clients will experience a brief time period (~5 minutes) where Alerts and Analysis will be inaccessible while the back-end applications are updated
During this time, the test-monitoring infrastructure will continue to run tests and collect data.
To help clients plan for the maintenance window, Catchpoint sends notification emails one week ahead of each release. To receive the notifications, make sure you are currently subscribed to Product Release Notes in your user profile.
