Overview
The Cache TLD Nameserver Queries advanced setting for the DNS Experience monitor directs Catchpoint to cache the requests made to the Top Level Domain (TLD) servers for the discovery of Authoritative Name Servers. The monitor will store the list of NS records provided by the TLDs, but it will not show any impact from the TLDs.
Waterfall Data
The TLD answers will still be displayed in the records under the respective level to show the cached information the agent relied on for the next step. The cached level will show a time of 0ms.
