The Analysis Module contains tools for looking deeply at your data to analyze performance trends or troubleshoot specific issues. These tools include:
- Explorer: enables you to quickly perform detailed analyses of your node-based tests, RUM data, and benchmarks to discover the causes of performance issues. Create cross-dimensional visualizations of various metrics, such as slowest browsers by city, most visited pages by device type, or bounce rate by page by browser. By visualizing raw data over small periods of time, Explorer allows you to analyze the full captured data set, nearly in real time.
- Smartboard: similar to a Dashboard in that it provides visualizations of data from various sources, including node-based tests, RUM, and Tracing. Smartboard also includes several advanced analytics capabilities, enabling you to quickly dig into the data and troubleshoot issues.
- Records: provides the most granular view of your test and RUM data, breaking down every step of every interaction. See waterfall representations of individual web test runs or RUM page views, which break out each and every step of the interaction with the web page, enabling you to identify performance bottle-necks.
- SLO: enables you to measure and track whether your services (or services provided by your vendors) are meeting defined SLOs.
- Custom Visualization: enables you to add your own types of charts and graphs to Catchpoint to display your data your way. You can use your Custom Visualizations in Explorer and in Dashboards.
- Tracing Errors: enables you to view errors that occurred in all tracing services for the selected timeframe. Additionally, you can view the histogram and list of individual traces that resulted in error and navigate to the corresponding trace chart in Smartboard.
