# Understanding low Endpoint Application Score

There may be situations in which an Endpoint Test for an application shows acceptable Jitter, Packet Loss, and Dropped Packet metrics, but the overall Application Score is still significantly lower than for other test runs with similar results for these individual metrics. In these cases, the lower application score is likely due to higher latency.
