This is a generic error message we display every time the monitor gives us an error that we have not previously seen and mapped. Every monitor is based on 3rd party code - Chrome, Curl, Winhttp, etc. We rely on these other frameworks or applications to build our monitors, and these applications have errors.
We map the errors that are specific to the application to our central list of errors, which are displayed in the portal. Sometimes something is not mapped, and you see this issue. So the failure did happen, and is real - we just do not have exact error message on our side.
