# Save Chart Type and Favorite Charts

## Overview

When viewing Performance Charts, you may find yourself repeating frequently as you tend to view the same metrics in the same locations with similar settings each time. To address this, Catchpoint **Favorite Charts** and **Save Charts Type** features allow you to save your frequently used charts and chart types as favorites.

## How to Save Chart Type

1. Go to Analysis >> Explorer Module and Click the "Source" button to select the test to be plotted.

*Additional Notes: Standard and custom visualizations can be added as a favorite chart as well. You can edit previously saved Favorite charts, by opening them, editing the parameters, and selecting save. A changelog is included to track edits made to Favorite Charts, and it can be accessed through the gear icon to the right of the save button. After pulling up a Favorite, it is often necessary to make changes to help troubleshoot problems or review performance. A quick way to clear those modifications and reload the Favorite is to use the "Revert" function.![exp11.png](https://cdn.document360.io/cb4af8f9-6751-4fd2-b39c-07aae832badb/Images/Documentation/4402553816589-exp11.png)
