**Welcome to the Ganymede release!** This release is named after the largest moon of Jupiter, which is bigger than the planet Mercury and the only moon with its own magnetic field. This update brings substantial new capabilities to your platform. We hope these enhancements bring added strength and value to your monitoring workflows.

## No-Code Transaction Test Improvements*

The No-Code Transaction test makes it easier than ever to create and manage user transaction tests. By using an intuitive browser extension, you can quickly record user flows and capture them as a set of simple, form-based test instructions. This update includes the following improvements:

- Edge browser support
- Assertions for validating content such as text and HTML elements are present or visible
- More actions like scroll, focus, special keys & key combos, and more
- Clearer UX for recording, managing, and playing back tests

*We are enabling this test for all customers following the agent release.

## Node to Node Matrix Thresholds

Detecting network issues between nodes in your network requires a nuanced approach since "normal" performance can vary significantly depending on your specific infrastructure. With new custom thresholds, now available in Node-to-Node tests, you can move beyond one-size-fits-all configuration by customizing the sensitivity of the matrix visualization to reflect the unique requirements of the network you are testing.

These custom thresholds allow you to define precise triggers for identifying latency, packet loss, and jitter issues using both static values and percent change over baselines. By tailoring these thresholds to your environment, you can reduce noise and ensure that the Node-to-Node matrix highlights genuine anomalies rather than expected variance.

## Test Data Webhooks at Folder and Test Levels

Test Data Webhooks can now be configured at the folder and individual test levels, providing greater flexibility in how monitoring data is routed to downstream systems. In addition to product-level configuration, teams can now override inherited webhook settings to send test data from specific folders or tests to different destinations.

This enhancement makes it easier to support multiple integrations, separate environments, and team-specific workflows while maintaining centralized configuration through inheritance when appropriate.

## Multi-Factor Login Authentication

Catchpoint now supports multi-factor authentication (MFA) for username and password sign-ins, adding an extra layer of security by requiring a one-time verification code sent by email during login. This enhancement helps protect user accounts from unauthorized access while providing a simple verification experience for customers who authenticate directly with Catchpoint. Customers using single sign-on (SSO) continue to authenticate through their identity provider. Email is the supported verification method for MFA in this initial release.

## REST API Updates

### New Endpoints

#### WebPageTest Scheduled Test REST API Support

The Catchpoint REST API now provides full lifecycle management for WebPageTest Scheduled Tests, enabling you to create, retrieve, update, and delete scheduled tests and associated alerts through automation.

#### Endpoint Monitoring REST API Enhancements

We've expanded the Catchpoint REST API for Endpoint Monitoring with support for creating, retrieving, updating, and deleting Employee Apps. New endpoints have also been added for retrieving Endpoint Locations and Endpoint Network Devices, making it easier to integrate Endpoint Monitoring with your existing workflows.

**REST API Versioning Policy**

We support the latest stable version of our REST API, and the prior version for twelve months after a new version becomes stable. As of July 11, 2024, **REST API v3** is the current stable version. **REST API v4** is available in preview and may include breaking changes as it evolves.

To stay supported and take advantage of the latest improvements, we recommend keeping your integration up to date with the latest stable version.

### REST API Bug Fixes

- Fixed error while creating legacy Transaction tests via REST API

## Additional Features

- User feedback has moved from the Resource Center Menu to a dedicated home in the charm bar for faster access
- You can now access the Support Portal using your Catchpoint account, eliminating the need for a separate login
- Expanded Custom Visualization metric limits from 10 to 15, enabling more comprehensive data visualizations

## Other Bug Fixes

- Fixed issue where clicking on Incidents in Stack Map resulted in a loading loop
- Reduced slowness in Node-to-Node custom dashboard widgets
- Resolved case where range header was not applied to child requests after selenium to playwright conversion
- Catchpoint.setIndicator() command in Playwright tests now captures values for indicators created in new Insights UI page
- Resolved an issue that prevented Playwright monitors using client certificates from executing POST requests successfully
- Resolved validation errors that could prevent Playwright test configurations from being updated
- Restored missing request headers and response details in Waterfall views across all test types
- Resolved an issue where dashboard limits were not updated correctly
- Resolved an issue that could prevent Compare Tests from loading successfully in WebPageTest Instant Test History
- Corrected projected usage reporting in Point Allocation when contract budget status was displayed incorrectly

## Agent Release

Some of the features in the release (where noted) require the latest version of the Catchpoint Agent to be running on the selected Node. The Catchpoint Agent rollout involves two dimensions:

- **Public Nodes managed by Catchpoint**: Agent rollout on public nodes takes place in stages following each release. Agent release announcements are posted here: [https://nodestatus.catchpoint.com](https://nodestatus.catchpoint.com/).
- **Private Enterprise Nodes managed by customers**: Customers can upgrade Enterprise Nodes any time at their convenience. We advise customers to upgrade Enterprise nodes promptly after each release to benefit from the new feature functionality.
- Instructions for upgrading Enterprise nodes can be found in the [help documentation](https://docs.catchpoint.com/v1/docs/linux-commands-and-outputs).
