# Nodes with ASN mismatches

Catchpoint monitors for any ASN and ISP routing issues affecting our backbone nodes on an on-going basis, and we reach out to the respective providers to fix problems as they arise. However, there may be cases where certain providers still show a mismatch.

On such occasions, you might see some internal routing in the first couple of hops before the path reaches the actual ISP. This is due to how the providers register their IPs, or how the internal routing is configured at the data center. Catchpoint considers less than the 1-millisecond exit to the actual ISP to be acceptable.

If you see any such issue, please reach out to Catchpoint Support.
