New features

Platform / Infrastructure

  • ARM support for Docker (see catchpoint/enterprise-base-Docker Image for more details).
  • Packaging improvements
    • To optimize our build and packaging process, some monitors have been broken out into smaller packages. The top level synthetic agent package now depends on the following sub-packages:
      • syntheticagent-legacy
      • playwright
      • cptools
      • cpmonitors-network
      • cpmonitors-ftpssh
      • cpedge
      • cpchrome
    • There is no change to the installation process or functionality. The output of catchpoint version will now also reflect all packages that are installed.

Bug fixes

  • Multiple monitors display identical run time across all steps when VOE is enabled

      • Debug on error displaying for first step instead of failed step when domain is the same
      • Difference in DNS timing between Playwright and Selenium Chrome monitors
      • Filmstrip capture inconsistency (missing / delayed frames)
      • Clipboard usage issue
  • No-code transaction monitor

    • Rewrite using latest technologies and packages to ensure alignment with current standards

Endpoint

  • New universal binary for Mac using Rosetta
