Important notes

Metrics increase due to Chrome and Edge upgrades

To stay up to date and patch vulnerabilities and add ARM support, the Chrome and Edge browsers have been updated from version 149 to 151.

Due to this upgrade, initial rendering is slightly slower in the newer 151 version. The start time of child metrics may be slightly later after the initial document is downloaded.

This also affects page metrics such as:

  • document complete
  • largest contentful paint
  • visually complete
  • time to interactive

Credential Masking Behavior

The Agent has been updated to only mask credentials 3 characters and longer from the response content and headers. This avoids some of the over-masking that was seen in previous releases.

RHEL9 Repository Configuration Update

We have updated the Catchpoint RHEL9 .repo files. This update prevents a known modular filtering error when installing Mimas or later agents.

If you are installing or upgrading agents on RHEL9, you may encounter the following error:

package nsolid-22.23.2-ns6.3.6.x86_64 from catchpoint-el9-repo-third-party is filtered out by modular filtering

Action Required To prevent or resolve this installation error, please update your Catchpoint RHEL9 .repo file to pull down the latest configuration. Instructions are available here: Linux Enterprise Install Guide
