Map Visualization

The Map visualization displays a map of the world with Cities or Countries color-coded to indicate the status of a metric relative to a configured threshold.

Configuring Map Visualization

  1. Select the Map visualization type
  2. Select the metric to be represented by the map color-coding, either by entering the name of the metric or by selecting it through the list feature.
  3. Select the metric calculation method by clicking on the metric pill and selecting an option from the dropdown. (default is Avg.)
  4. Set the metric thresholds (values above/below which each Tile's color will be set).
  5. Choose a Map Aggregation option (City or Country). If you choose Country then all data collected by all cities within that country will be aggregated.
  6. Select the default timeframe for the widget
  7. Enable Other Timeframes if you want a person viewing the Dashboard to be able to choose a different timeframe than the default, then select which Timeframes you want them to be able to choose from.
