# Error Code 12170 A certificate has been revoked

## Overview

The error **"[12170] - A certificate has been revoked"** indicates an issue validating a certificate with the Certificate Authority, and it is important to verify and confirm the certificate's revocation status.

## Tools for verification

The following tools can be used to check the revocation status of the certificate:

- [Qualys SSL Server Test](https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?%20)
