# Control Center Overview

Control Center is where you will configure all of your Catchpoint tests. You can also start in Control Center to quickly navigate to a specific Test's Smartboard, Charts, or Records. Control Center also contains the Library, where you can store important information for use within your tests.

## Control Center Modules

### Tests

- Tests run on Catchpoint’s worldwide fleet of public nodes, and/or your internal Enterprise nodes, giving you a continuous view of the status and performance of your systems. Catchpoint’s monitors are designed to emulate interactions with your systems by real-world users, enabling you to detect and proactively resolve performance issues before they affect your user base.

### Endpoint

- Endpoint monitoring captures data from your employees’ devices related to their experiences connecting the systems they use for business. This enables you to maximize their efficiency by proactively detecting and troubleshooting performance issues. The Endpoint Monitoring solution consists of an application and Chrome browser extension installed on each employee’s device. The browser extension captures telemetry data and the app forwards it back to your Catchpoint Portal for visualization and analysis. You can also configure tests to run from Endpoint devices on a scheduled basis, providing continuous performance monitoring.

### RUM

- RUM (Real User Metrics) collects telemetry data from actual user interactions with your systems. This is accomplished by custom javascript code executed on your webpages, which captures the data and transmits it to your Catchpoint Portal for visualization and analysis. Catchpoint provides a javascript library for this purpose, or you can use your own custom code to capture any metrics you want.

### Library
The Library enables you to store and centrally manage information and files that will be used within your tests. The Library is broken down into the following sections:

#### Credentials
- The Credentials Library stores Usernames/Passwords, Certificates, and Tokens for use within your tests. You can manage who can access specific credentials.

### Script Templates
- The Script Templates Library stores generic scripts which you can adapt for use within your script-based tests, such as Playwright, Puppeteer, and API.

#### Files
- The Files library stores files for use with your Transaction Tests (script-based tests). For example, you can store a script which your transaction test may call, or files which your scripts may upload to a server as part of a test.

#### ASNs
- The ASN library stores a list of trusted ASNs which your BGP monitors can use to help detect BGP hijacks.

#### Custom Services
- The Custom Services Library stores services that you can add to your [Stack Maps](/v1/docs/stack-map){target=`_blank`}.

#### Internet Sonar
- Configure alerts for use with [Internet Sonar](/v1/docs/internet-sonar)
