# CloudFlare Blocking Catchpoint Tests

## Overview

When running Catchpoint tests for webpages that are hosted on Cloudflare, you might come across a situation where you receive a **Server responded with a 40X or 50X response code** error, even though you are able to access the page from your local system without any issue.  

If you check the screenshot from a failed test run, you might see the message shown below.

## Explanation

This happens because CloudFlare detects the traffic from Catchpoint nodes as bots and denies it from serving the request. To mitigate this, it is recommended to whitelist the IPs of the Catchpoint’s nodes from which the tests are being run for uninterrupted testing.
