# Catchpoint Script Recorder not opening on Chrome 102 and above.

### Problem Symptoms
After Clicking on the Catchpoint script recorder extension on the chrome browser. It does not launch the extension.

### Cause
This behaviour is due to Chrome changes starting with version 102. The windows created or modified by an extension must be at least 50% visible on the user's display.

### Resolution
This problem occurs because of chrome's policy to not allow the extension's window to display. Please see the workaround section for a potential way to launch script recorder.

### Workaround

1. Click on Restore Down button on the chrome browser.

2. And, then launch the Script Recorder.

3. After, the launch of the script recorder you can now Maximize the chrome window again.
