# Assigning Primary Dashboard to a Contact

Different Catchpoint users may have different areas of focus or responsibility when accessing the portal. Assigning a primary (default) dashboard to a contact makes it easier for them to quickly see information that is relevant to their needs upon logging in.

## Assigning a Primary Dashboard to a Contact

1. Log into Catchpoint and navigate to **Contacts**
2. Select the contact you want to make the change to
3. In the **Primary Dashboard** dropdown, select the desired dashboard.
4. You can optionally make the Primary Dashboard the only dashboard the contact can view by selecting **Do not display other dashboards**.
5. **Save** the contact
