# Ad blocker software can block items on the Portal

## Overview

Ad blockers such as AdGuard installed on Windows or in your browser can block some items in the Catchpoint Portal.

## Example

When viewing and modifying test properties through a browser with an adblocker installed, the overridden "Advanced Settings" section may not list the "Add Settings" dropdown items.

## Solution

To avoid this type of issue you may try any of the following:

- Make sure there are no ad blocker software/extensions installed when accessing the Catchpoint Portal
- Temporarily disable any ad blocker software/extensions when accessing the Catchpoint Portal
- Add exceptions for the domain `https://catchpoint.portal.com` in the ad blocker's configuration settings.
